BTS Members Joke Kim Taehyung Is Now Stronger Than Jungkook During Surprise Live Stream
V's military training boosts strength past Jungkook and RM, earning elite honours ahead of BTS comeback.

BTS is back and stronger than ever, with Kim Taehyung, also known as V, leaving fans stunned by his dramatic transformation following military service. The global superstar has not only returned to the stage but, according to fellow BTS members, is now physically 'stronger than Jungkook'.

Kim Taehyung's Military Training Impresses BTS Members
In a series of surprise Weverse live streams this week, BTS members V, Jungkook, RM and Jimin reconnected with fans in a playful and candid broadcast. However, the biggest surprise came when RM and Jungkook revealed Taehyung's impressive strength.
'Shocking news: Kim Taehyung is stronger than me,' RM admitted. Jungkook quickly added, 'He's stronger than me too.'

From Sensitive Idol to Special Forces Soldier
Once known as the group's most sensitive member, Taehyung underwent rigorous training while serving in South Korea's elite Special Duty Team, a military unit known for its tough physical regime and counter-terrorism operations.
Taehyung rose to the rank of sergeant and earned the highly respected Special Warrior badge. This recognition is given only to soldiers who excel in strength, endurance and overall performance. He will also be listed in the Special Duty Team's Hall of Fame for one year.

RM praised his bandmate's transformation, saying, 'Taehyung was lifting weights in the Special Forces. He is way ahead.' Although RM trains daily, he admitted, 'I'd lose to him in a fight.' Taehyung replied modestly, 'You guys just started again. I have been consistent.'
BTS Workout Crew Shares Fitness Secrets
The live stream revealed the group's new dynamic as the so-called 'workout crew'. While RM and Jungkook focus on bodyweight exercises, V has embraced heavy weight training.
'He is bigger than us,' RM noted. 'We cannot even finish the sets he does.' Taehyung said the military helped instil discipline in him, adding, 'I forced myself into the habit.'

BTS Reunites in Los Angeles for New Album
As Jin and J-Hope headline solo concerts in Berlin and Tokyo, the remaining BTS members have regrouped in Los Angeles to work on their upcoming album. RM confirmed the group's official comeback is scheduled for spring 2026.
Fans are already speculating about a world tour, although no dates have been announced. BTS first teased their return earlier this month during a half-hour Weverse live stream.
Kim Taehyung Leads BTS Into a New Era
Taehyung's transformation from sensitive idol to elite soldier signals a new era for BTS. His physical strength and mental discipline bring a fresh energy to the group as they prepare for their highly anticipated comeback.
With a new album on the horizon and the possibility of a global tour, fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting BTS's next chapter. Taehyung's military journey has not only reshaped his image but may also redefine the group's future.
